    3. Thank you, Marilyn and Ellen, for your quick replies. I'm convinced now that the Martin in Boone Co., Mo. in 1840 was likely the son of Broadus Breedlove, who lived in the same county. Martin oldest son (17 in the 1850 census), was born in VA) By that time Martin and Elizabeth were in KY, so the younger Martin could not have been their son.
