Dear Kris Ball, I'm afraid you've chosen the wrong father for your Broadus Breedlove. Madison Breedlove died in 1810 in Albemarle Co., VA. A court record there dated, 3 September 1810, shows that Wm. Smith was made guardian of Madison's minor children, listed as Absolom W., Polly, Aylett & Jane Breedlove. Thomas Breedlove [of Orange Co., VA], brother of Madison, left an Orange Co., VA will proved 25 April 1807, naming wife Sarah & children John, Thomas, Mary, Caty, Nathan, BROADUS, Sarah & Edward.
