Born July 22, 1925, in Pittsylvania County, Va., he was the son of Elder Willie Breedlove Sr. and Annie Inge Breedlove. Survivors include three sons, James T. Breedlove of Philadelphia, Thomas H. Breedlove of Danville, Va. and Harold V. Breedlove of Hara've, Zimbabwe; two daughters, Brenda Carter of Danville, Va., and Marva Coleman of Capital Heights, Md.; two brothers, Vincent Breedlove of Hampton, Va., and Willie Breedlove of Norman, Ill.; two sisters, Harriett Bennett of Dry Fork, Va., and Emma B. Smith of Ettrick, Va.; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was predeceased by one brother, Lawson Breedlove. A memorial service will be 4 p.m. Thursday at Beavers Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Billy R. Inge officiating. The family will receive friends at the son's residence, Thomas Breedlove, 6536 Old Richmond Road.
