As a Breedlove descended from a charismatic Scotsman named John D. Chisholm, I derive a very interesting link with early frontier and American history as well as my Cherokee Indian blood. John D. Chisholm is the grandfather of Jesse Chisholm and the father of Thomas Chisholm, elected Third Chief of the Cherokee old settlers in Oklahoma in 1834, prior to the Trail of Tears. Chisholm and Thomas Chisholm, a 6-generation descendancy outline from John D.
