Discharged 13Dec1862 on a surgeon's certificate of disability - Rheumatism and Brights disease of the kidneys. Ht 5' 11", eyes gray, hair dark, complx light, farmer, age 45. Captured in Washington Co, AR 23Feb1863 and sent to military prison, St Louis, MO then to City Point, VA where he was exchanged 2Jun1863. This information came from Edward G.
