Dear Breedlove cousins, Tom King wrote: The exact reference is Albemarle Will Book 5, pg 82 Division of Estate pg 101 Inventory of Estate pg 165 Accounting of Administration I presume that you are giving additional references where material on the estate of Madison Breedlove can be found. The references I gave were from two microfilms of the Albemarle County, Virginia COURT ORDERS; the first, 00330261, covers the dates 1813-1818; the second, 0030261, cover the dates 1818-1822. I looked very carefully at Mr. Lanford/Sanford's name, being aware of the confusion over the capital "S" and a capital "L" in the old handwriting. All I can say is that elsewhere on the same page in the same hand, is a capital "L" [in the name Lewis] which is made exactly the same as the initial letter in the name of the gentleman in question. In addition where the name Smith is written, the initial letter "S" is made differently. However, you can go through this page and point out where other capital letters "S", "L" and even "J" look the same. Marilyn Owen
