I have been working on the genealogy of Irvin Breedlove. I talked to his grand daughter today who told me Margaret, the daughter of Irvin attempted to make a claim on the Cherokee Nation years ago. There was some confusion on the g/daughter's part about it not being a legitimate claim. Now I run across the possibility that there is african american ties in the breedlove family. does anyone have any documented facts either about native or african american heritage with Irvin breedlove?
