Dear Cousins, I have extracted the Amherst Personal Property Lists for Breedlove, for the years 1782-1803. The tax lists continue, and I have ordered the next roll of microfilm. Notice that in 1797 there is a Thomas Breedlove listed in Amherst Co. That year [1797] there was also a Thomas Breedlove listed in Albemarle Co. on the tax list. Martin Breedlove also appears on the Albemarle list before he shows up in Amherst. I sent this extraction to myself, first, to see if the columns came through straight [they didn't]. There are only four headings, though, so perhaps it won't be too confusing.
