William died in Lunenburg County, Virginia on June 25, 1787, he was 55. Buried on July 12, 1787 in Charlotte County, Virginia. about 1754 when William was 22, he married REESE. They had the following children: 2 i. John (~1758-1811) 3 ii. William (1760-1820) iii. Sally. Born in 1762. Sally married James SAMMON. iv. Sarah (probably wife of James Sammon). Born about 1762 in Virginia. Sarah married (Quite likely a son of William Sammon Sr.) James SAMMON, son of William SAMMON Sr. (about 1730-about 1804) & Rebecca IVEY (OR DUNN??) (-June 1762). v. Elizabeth. Born in 1764 in Virginia. Elizabeth married John PAGE. vi. Mary. vii. Martha. 4 viii. Thomas (-1837) Second Generation - -------------------------------------- Family of William STEMBRIDGE (1) & REESE 2. John STEMBRIDGE. Born about 1758 in Virginia. John died in Lebanon, Wilson County, Tennessee in 1811, he was 53. Buried in Lebanon, Wilson County, Tennessee. John married Mary. They had one child: i. Elizabeth. Born in 1788. 3. William STEMBRIDGE. Born in 1760 in Virginia. William died on May 12, 1820, he was 60. On January 22, 1785 when William was 25, he first married Kindness BREEDLOVE, daughter of James BREEDLOVE Jr. (1747-1795) & Kindness SHORTER. Born about 1770. They had the following children: i. Henry Reese. ii. Jenny Temple. On June 30, 1808 when William was 48, he second married Elizabeth Wallace GREEN. 4. Thomas STEMBRIDGE. Born in Baidport, England. Thomas died in 1837. Thomas married Sarah. They had the following children: 5 i. Lucy (1795-1852) ii. James W.. iii. Anderson. iv. Henry R. M.. v. John. vi. William. vii. Thomas L.. Third Generation - -------------------------------------- Family of Thomas STEMBRIDGE (4) & Sarah 5. Lucy STEMBRIDGE. Born on June 6, 1795. Lucy died on February 17, 1852, she was 56. Lucy first married James WARREN, son of Jesse WARREN & Elizabeth. They had one child: i. William S. (1816-1863) On March 6, 1821 when Lucy was 25, she second married William Watkins BREEDLOVE, son of William BREEDLOVE & Sarah FOSTER, in Hancock county, Georgia. They had one child: (of course, there were undoubtedly other children -- however, this is as far as my research has gone) i. Thomas Watson (1822->1891)
