My transcription of this will was done from the microfilmed copy of the original in the State Library of Virginia at Richmond. It was not a very clear microfilm copy and the edges were not also legible (hence my use of the ellipses . . .). If someone could find the original Record Book, maybe we could get a definitive reading. It sure looked like Clifford to me. I wonder if it still might be at the courthouse in King William County. (Would that be in the town of King William, the county seat? It sure doesn't look like there is much of a population in that county, by looking at the map.) tomking wrote: > PS My ten year old copy of the other King William Record book is faded > out but it still appears to me that the name is ALLEMAN Breedlove, not > Clifford as Mark had reported.
