Tom =================================== Carrie Breedlove DANVILLE, Va.- Carrie Lee Parrish Breedlove, 91, formerly of Schoolfield Drive and Holiday Village, died Friday, Dec. 31, 1999, in Roman Eagle Memorial Home. Born July 24, 1908, in Vance County, N.C., she was the daughter of the late George H. Parrish and Lucy Wortham Parrish. She was married Feb. 28, 1925, to Richard W. Breedlove, who died May 28, 1975. She was predeceased by one daughter, Helen B. Walker; one son, Richard L. Breedlove; one brother, Silas M. Parrish and two sisters, Gladys P. Adcock and Nellie P. Owen. She lived most of her life in Danville where she was a homemaker after having worked for Dan River Inc. for a brief time. She was a graduate of Henderson High School in Henderson, N.C. She was a member of the former Baptist Tabernacle for over 60 years. Survivors include one daughter, Patricia B. Wilkerson, of Ringgold; one son, George H. Breedlove Sr. of Danville; two sisters, Margie P. Harris of Henderson, N.C. and Madeline P. Reaves of Durham, N.C.; eight grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Wrenn-Yeatts Westover Chapel with the Rev. Dr. R.J. Barber Jr. and the Rev. Carl Burger officiating. Burial will follow in Danville Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the residence of George H. Breedlove Sr., 17 Noel Ave.
