I received the following information from Don Breedlove: Current Breedlove line came out of Russellville, AR and the hills of Clarksville, AR. If you get a chance in London England they have a lot of records on breedloves. My fathers group named Bredlow, Bredlov, Bredlove, Breedlove..decorated for valor in War of 1776, special awards from King for bravery..evidently seaman. Thomas, Because Mary Watkins Worsham Breedlove is not my direct ancestor, I have not tried to find the marriage record for Mary and Joseph. I am descended from John Breedlove and Mary's sister, Elizabeth Watkins. Originally I was puzzled by the marriage record that I found in Lunenburg County for a Benjamin Breedlove and a Mary Worsham. Puzzled enough to discover that Mary Worsham and Mary Watkins were the same person. I also learned that Joseph Worsham for whom Benjamin Breedlove was the guardian was Mary's son. Later Joseph Worsham chose one of Mary Watkins Breedlove's brothers, John Watkins, to be his guardian. (Charlotte County Order Book 4) In English Duplicates of Lost Virginia Records by Louis des Cognets, Jr. 1958, NJ, a John Worsham has 1104 acres of land in Henrico County; Robert Mann has 100, Wm. Watkins has 120; Thomas, Joseph, Edward and Henry, Sr. also have land in Henrico. If I were interested in finding that marriage record, I would first look in Henrico because this is where Joseph Worsham lived. His parents are reputed to be George and Mary Archer Worsham. Benjamin Breedlove was surety for the marriage of Martha Worsham on 3 Feb 1773. This could be another child of Mary and Joseph Worsham. Thats about all I can tell you. Martha Breedlove Kahn
