The following family chronology has recently come to me. I am looking for verification/correction/confirmation of its validity. Descendancy Narrative of John Bray I. John1 BRAY was born circa 1698. He married Alice JOHNS on 3 June 1723. A. Richard2 BRAY was born on 5 August 1724. B. John2 BRAY was born on 1 March 1731 at Redruth, Cornwall, England. He married Elizabeth CARTER on 1 July 1758. 1. John3 BRAY was born on 4 June 1759. He married Lucretia WEBSTER on 2 December 1783. (The following children were born/baptized in Camborne--It is unclear to this writer which it is) a) Elizabeth4 BRAY was baptized on 18 April 1784 at Camborne, Cornwall, England. b) James4 BRAY was baptized on 12 November 1786 at Camborne, Cornwall, England. c) Grace4 BRAY was baptized on 1 June 1789 at Camborne, Cornwall, England. d) John4 BRAY was baptized on 20 November 1791 at Camborne, Cornwall, England. He married Mary HARVEY on 25 February 1815 at Illogan, Cornwall, England. (1) Grace5 BRAY was born on 10 February 1821. She died circa November 1904. (2) Elizabeth5 BRAY. Her married name was WILLIAMS. She was born on 2 December 1827 at Camborne, Cornwall, USA. She married Henry Oatfield WILLIAMS on 15 February 1849 at the Anglican Church, Tuckingmill (Tucking), Cornwall, England. She died on 7 May 1900 at Elizabeth, Jo Davies County, Illinois, USA, at age 72. (a) Grace6 WILLIAMS was born on 28 October 1849 at England. She died on 18 February 1925 at age 75. (b) Elizabeth Jane6 WILLIAMS. Her married name was BRAY. She was born on 2 March 1851 at USA (presumably Elizabeth, Jo Davies County, Illinois). She married James BRAY(her uncle), son of John BRAY and Mary HARVEY, (circa 1868 at Michigan, USA. She died on 28 June 1934 at Wyoming, USA, at age 83. i) William Harvey7 BRAY was born circa 1871 at Michigan, USA. ii) John Harvey7 BRAY was born on 2 December 1873 at Burt County, Nebraska, USA. iii) Minnie Harvey7 BRAY was born circa 1879 at Burt County, Nebraska, USA. iv) Nettie7 BRAY was born on 9 March 1883 at Burt County, Nebraska, USA. v) James Harvey7 BRAY was born on 18 February 1885 at Burt County, Nebraska, USA. (c) Mary Catherene6 WILLIAMS was born in 1853. She died between 1855 and 1856. (d) Catherene6 WILLIAMS was born on 14 May 1855. She died on 24 September 1881 at age 26. (e) John Thomas6 WILLIAMS was born on 14 December 1858. He died on 28 August 1943 at age 84. (f) Charlotte6 WILLIAMS was born on 9 May 1860. She died in March 1881 at age 20. (g) Frances6 WILLIAMS was born on 5 March 1864. She died on 15 November 1948 at age 84. (h) Henry Oatfield6 WILLIAMS was born on 2 September 1865. He died on 29 June 1941 at age 75. (i) James Albert6 WILLIAMS was born on 1 August 1867. He died on 16 March 1960 at age 92. (j) Nellie6 WILLIAMS was born in September 1870. She died in October 1870. (3) James5 BRAY was born on 15 December 1836. He married Elizabeth Jane WILLIAMS, daughter of Henry Oatfield WILLIAMS and Elizabeth BRAY, circa 1868 at Michigan, USA. He died on 21 January 1908 at Burt County, Nebraska, USA, at age 71. William3 BRAY was born circa 1761. 3. Edmound3 BRAY was born on 23 April 1764. 4. Philippa3 BRAY was born on 21 September 1766. C. Philip2 BRAY was born on 16 March 1733. D.
