Martha Jane HOWERTON,b. Claiborne Co., TN(I think, possibly d/o Green Howerton and Mary MULLINS?) Bryant and Martha Jane removed to St. Joseph, Buchannan Co., MO by 1880, although they do not appear in the census, as two enumeration districts started on either side of their residence, as listed in city directories for that time period. Need date of death and place of burial for both. 4.James Bray(another one) and Mary "Winny" GOLDEN, according to one souce, who cites him as the son of another Bryant. 5. Bryant BRAY(THE other) from Surry Co., NC, which is documented in Edna B.Reese's book(s) THE BRAYS OF FISHER RIVER. Brother of Littleberry, Stogner,(went to TN),David, Sr., Peter(went to KY),and John. All the sons of Peter BRAY,"The Red-Headed Englishman", and Martha SCOTT. If we've talked before, please write me again, or even if not, I would like to have ANY of the NC, KY/TN, AR, OK lines for reference, as I have these names but not many(if any) details.
