I wonder if your William E. Bray could be related to this family, which was eventually located in Missouri. He resided in Barren Co., KY. FOURTH GENERATION 4. Rachel BRAY was born on Apr 27 1790 in Kentucky (?). She died on Mar 31 1857. She was married to John JAMES (son of James JAMES and Mary Cole SPEAKMAN) on May 19 1812 in Kentucky. John JAMES was born on Jan 18 1790 of Monroe Co., KY. He died on May 31 1887 in Moniteau County, Missouri (?). (Children omitted) 5. Sarah BRAY. She was married to James JAMES (son of James JAMES and Mary Cole SPEAKMAN). James JAMES was born in Probably Kentucky or Virginia. 6. Mary BRAY. She was married to Jesse H HILL. 7. Lucy BRAY resided Morgan Co, MO before 1850 in Morgan Co, MO. She resided Moniteau Co., MO by 1850 in Moniteau Co., MO. She died in by 1850.
