I have absolutely no information on your Alabama Bray but would be interested to know anything about her family. I have a Quinn family connection to the Bray family that starts in Duplin Co NC until 1810. The Quinns arrived in Simpson Co MS around mid 1820's, their mother Mary was either a Bray by birth or married a Bray between 1801 and 1808 after the death of their father James Quinn. Apart from the male David Quinn there could have been a Catherine married to Michael Hill, in 1850 living with daughter married to George Albritton. Do any of these names sound familiar to you?
