Surnames: Bray, Wills, Cory Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.co.uk/mbexec/msg/5538/5gF.2ACIB/1255 Message Board Post: Hi - does anyone have any info in connection with the family of Richard James Bray (b. 1875) and his wife Bessie (née Wills) (b. 1877). They were my great great grandparents and had married by 1901 as they were on the census with 2 sons, William James (aged 3) and Frederick J (who was 1). My great grandmother was born to them in 1904 and was Margaret Joyce Bray (1904-74). They had 6 or 7 children altogether - Seth (b. circa 1906 who died near Singapore during a torpedoe attack in WWII), Romilly (who died as a result of a motorbike accident aged 21) and Sylvia who died in 2001 at the age of 92. Of these, only Joyce had any children of her own (the rest died unmarried/except for Seth who married a divorcée). Subsequently, due to the near-nothing amount of marriage in this family - there are only 5 great great grandchildren of Richard and Bessie (myself being the eldest at 16 years) If anyone has any info on Bessie's family (i.e. her parents, siblings etc...) i would be very greatful. She had a sister called Beattie - both Bessie and Beattie were alive in 1950. Thanks Tom cory
