The family moved on to Scotland where they lived until taking up arms with Oliver Cromwell when he went to Ireland. Then to Virginia to Maryland and ultimately to North Carolina before dispursing thoughout the western states. Progenitor known in the Americas began with Henry Bray who married Mary Wilson his son Henry Bray who married Sarah Yokley.
