You didn't say where your Sarah and William were from; was it the Cumberland region, south eastern Tennessee and Kentucky? My great grandparents were Bryant BRAY and Martha Jane HOWERTON. I think her parents were James HOWERTON and Melinda MAIDEN. All these families lived around the southeastern corner of TN and KY: Claiborne Co., TN, Knox Co., KY., Pulaski Co., KY, etc. I would like to share info with you if you have more on the Maidens.
