Hi Gail, Well, I started off with what Aunt Mary gave all of us (Brays and Bigelows--although I don't know how many of the family trees she gave out). She did family histories on the children of George Bray and Ann Hoskins and their descendants. I don't know if you got one. Mine is kind of messed up now because I've been adding things. I work at the Lake County Public Library in Merrillville, IN and we have a subscription to AncestryPlus and I've signed up for message boards and such. I'm in charge of our local history and genealogy room, so I've been learning about genealogy. I still consider myself an amateur. Anyway, the page on Anna Belle Bray includes her birth, death and marriage dates as well as where she is buried and also Melvin Bigelow's information. Their children are also listed with their birth and one death date (Ray Melvin b 9-4-04; d 3-21-14) There is a short history of their lives; where they lived and it mentions the trip to England. The information I got from the Ellis Island site lists George, Ann and Anna Belle (who is listed as "Ann") as departing from Liverpool and arriving at Ellis Island on November 15, 1894. George was 54; Ann was 51 Anna Belle was 12. I don't know when Aunt Mary compiled these histories; late '70's early '80's I think. I have other stuff from the Bray side, the Shepards (Eunice was my great-grandmother); Willis and others. Do you know anymore about other Brays in Walworth County? You probably have a lot more on the Bigelows than I do; I've only got what Aunt Mary gave me and a little that I found on Ancestry--census images. Happy Spring! I, too had heard that Anna Belle and her father went back to England at some point. I wonder if it was after her mom died? Anyway, I remember your Aunt Mary from the reunions. She came me plenty of information when we talked. She also told me stories of my Grandpa's family. What other information do you have? I have a little bit and we could swap. I live in Edgerton and have been doing geneaology for about 10 years. Thanks for the reply!
