also in response to the list of marriage witnesses I see that the the witness Hannah Mills ,I believe she married Jerimiah Poe , who I believe is a brother to John W Poe I believe that they are the sons of William Poe and Susannah Poe. William Poe died in about 1799 his widow Susannah Poe and Henry Bray Jr were appointed executrix and executor they having posted bond with Henry Bray Sr . both John and Jerimiah are the correct age according to the 1800 census for chatham co which list Susannah and several children two are the correct age to be John W Poe and Jerimiah Poe that married Hannah Mills , also both John and Jerimiah named their oldest daughters Susannah . I wonder would not the Quaker records give the name of Jerimiah Poe s parents ?
