    3. The HINSHAW book of Quaker genealogy is about 2 miles from my apartment at the Wis His Soc. I can go an look up anyone whose records are in doubt if you identify the MM, the state and location, and the BRAY and allied family names to look for. I have most of Cane Creek MM copied I believe already. And a few stray pages here and there. And to answer Pat's open question: To the best of my knowledge Mahala BRAY BROWNs letter might be the genesis of calling Henry BRAY's wife Marie WILSON. But my record digging has not focused too explicitly on Henry & Marie and others would know more about this particular couple than I would claim to. I think Jerry BRYAN's observation that there were two distinct Henry BRAYs being melded into one makes sense. Just because I was reluctant to dismiss the age 113 claim, doesn't mean I was enamored of it either. My GEDCOM agreed with Jerry BRYANs with the exception that I deleted the generations prior to Edward BRAY the father of Henry m. Marie WILSON & Edward m. Sarah MAYNARD because I couldn't make sense of what I had. And I had deleted all dates for Henry as well. It was on my needs verification to do list (longest list known to mankind). And after reading Pat's report on William LEAKEY I have downgraded him to a footnote noting the claim, and noting the lack of verification for it. I was not aware he was suspect until I read Pat's posting here. Thanx Pat! james wall
