Since you are looking for the ancestry that preceded the Henry Bray who was the patriarch of the family posted on that particular site, it would not have been of much assistance to you, because there was no earlier line given. What branch of the Brays are you trying to research? The person who did that website evidently came from the William Bray who left N.C. and went to Indiana in the 1820's. Then his son, Alfred, went to Illinois. My great-grandmother was Alfred's younger sister.
