Author: bkbarraclough Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.bratton/664/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Seeking info on John Bratton b. ca 1796, who shows up on the 1850 census in McVeytown, Mifflin Co., PA at age 54 living in household of Elizabeth Lyttle age 52. Others in the household were Rachael Lyttle age 22, Isabella Lyttle age 19, Mary Jane Lyttle age 16, and Margaret E. Lyttle age 12. I think Elizabeth Lyttle may have been the 2nd wife of Francis Lyttle (b. 1770-1780) who had been married to Isabella McKinstry (b.1785-d.1824). Also , John Bratton was probaly related somehow, given all the McKinstry/Bratton connections. Isabella McKinstry/Francis Lyttle and their descendants has been one of my brick walls.
