We are Brattons from the original four brothers. Our line starts with George Bratton Born July 1798 NC married - this gets a little confusing - some say her name was Mary others say Polly. From what we can substantiate it was Mary They had 11 children and my line continues through John born 1828 in Tennessee married Rebecca Ann Hayes and was killed in the Civil War - they had five children which John Marshall Bratton is our line.
