It seems likely that your Alfred Bratton is my grandfather. The only information I have for him his is death certificate dated 1951 & that he was 77 when he died. So it would fit with a birth date of 1874 & that I know he worked most of his life as a Yard foreman for a timber Importers in Grimsby.
