I received a reply to my query on Robert Bratton from Patsy Weikert but cannot seem to find a way to reply directly to her email alddress. I am looking for information on Robert Bratton who was in August Co. VA in 1769 and in 1770 when he sold land on the Jackson River with my ancestor Ralph Lafferty. I think he was the one married to Ann McFArland. I am wondering what information someone might have on who he was, where he came from, where he lived, and if there could have been some relationship with Ralph Lafferty.
