In 1890, when he applied for his Civil War Pension, he listed the following living children: John T, Martha Elizabeth, Rosa Lee, and Edward Elbert. These are the same children listed on the 1880 Obion Co Census, with the exception of Stephen, who it would appear died prior to 1890.
