Hi Bobee I checked the subscriber list and you are only subscribed one time. The problem may be with the awful weather in some areas. Just delete the extras. It will probably clear up by itself. I have been researching the Rhaesa family in this country and in Germany for a number of years. Lucinda Brashear was living with Isaac Woodward (widower of Maria Brashear) in the 1850 Federal census for Brownsville, Fayette, PA. Was Lucinda related to Maria? Lucinda (Lucy) Rhaesa was living with Isaac Woodward in 1860 and 1870 and with Cirus Ruchard in 1880, all in Brownsville. In both places she was the housekeeper. She had a daughter, Annie (1860 census). Lucy or Lucinda seems to have been born around 1824/26 in PA, as were her parents. Annie born about 1844 in PA. Ann May Rhaesa married Frank Ames, 17 June 1862 in Brooklyn, NY. My Rhaesa connection is from Luxembourg: Julius Rhaesa was married to Marie Brasseur, born 1804 in France. Does any one know who Lucy was and how was she connected to the Rhaesa family? She seems to appear and then disappear into thin air. Any help will be appreciated. I have Rhaesa information posted on the Rhaesa forum. Judy Sheldon
Hi, I am looking for information about the family who founded Brashiers (Brashears) Chapel Community located on Brindlee Mountain near Arab, Alabama.I have a relatively old newspaper clipping talking about the founder Hiram Brashier and the community. My connection is this: My grandfather William Walter Ridgway's parents were Albert Homer and Martha Ann (Coker) Ridgway. Martha Ann (Coker)'s parents were Yancy Coker and Sara(h) Ann Brashiers. Sara Ann's father was Hiram Brashier. I have seen Brashiers Chapel spelled Brashears on the internet is the reason for this posting on this website. Any help you could give me would be most appreciated. Regards, Norene (Vick, Ridgway) Weigl

She was married to Tom Reivley or Reville or Reveley. For a time they lived in Nathan, Pike Co., Arkansas, and had a family there. in 1929 she gave birth to a son named James Alford Reivley. in 1931, the family left Nathan and possibly moved west to OK. They took most of their family with them but left behind the two year old James who was taken in by a family named Jeffers. His name changed to James Earl Jeffers. I have more information about the life and family of James (Reivley) Jeffers and would like to exchange information with members of family of Grace Beshers / Brashears Reivley. Any information about James's parents and siblings would be greatly appreciated. He believes his grandmother was full blood Choctaw.
