Yes, if you are a direct descendant of John Brant and Hannah Bosworth, then your fore- fathers and mothers arrived in this new world on the Mayflower in 1620. This means you are eligible to join the GSMD, General Society of Mayflower Descendants. Our direct descendants making the journey were John Howland and Elizabeth Tilley. I f you have a computer handy, these are two good websites about them and the Mayflower in general: http://members.aol.com/calebj/mayflower.html http://www.mayflowerfamilies.com and http://americanrevolution.org/johnhowland.html. If you want to know more about our descendants specifically, you'll have to come to the reunion!!! WOULD YOU LIKE TO KNOW ABOUT YOUR ANCESTORS WHO FOUGHT IN THE REVOLUTIONARY WAR ? John Brant, Isaac Goodrich and several other ancestors were Revolutionary War veterans which entitles you to become members of the DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) or the SAR (Sons of the American Revolution). The DAR and, I believe, the SAR both have scholarships that they award annually. Who are these people, John Brant and Isaac Goodrich, and how do I relate to them? 1. Adam Brant and Mary Gertrude Gregory
    2. I'm interested in the Adam Brant who is buried in Fairview Cemetery, Taylor co. He seems to have a wife Mary. It is possible that this is Mary Gertrude Gregory who I believe married Adam Brant in Tippecanoe Co., Indiana. Mary Gregory was born 12 Nov 1856 in Tippecanoe Co., Ind. She was the dau. of William D. Gregory and Anna Elizabeth Bartmess. The new 1880 index shows an Adam Brant with wife Mary G. in 1880 Fontanelle, Adair Co, Iowa. There are two children: William J. and Ramer W. Brant. Family information shows that this couple was living in Kansas City , Missouri in 1920. Does anyone know more about this couple? and their children? I'm working on a family book - Mary Gertrude's line. Thank you, Kathleen Rizer

    1. CHURCHWARD, Sydney & Sadie, 1915 =>, cemetery?
    2. Ron Cushman
    3. I am seeking any information on Sydney and Sadie CHURCHWARD, known to be living in Toronto 1915 - 1917. In particular, looking for death and burial information for Sadie (Sydney killed in WWI, CEF), and information (names, location, etc) for a daughter born c. May 1916, and son born c. June 1917. OCFA shows an Arthur Frederick and a Doris M. CHURCHWARD buried in Farrington Church cemetery (old part), Brantford (BT-036). Does anyone have access to any records to this cemetery, to tell me if these burials match the age of the children mentioned above? Also, there is a Gertrude CHURCHWARD in Mt. Hope cemetery, Brantford, BT-208. Are there any dates known, to know if this may be Sadie (her husband born 1892 ?), or her daughter, above ? With thanks for any assistance. 1. Canadian census destruction
    2. Kathleen Atwood
    3. The Canadian government plans to permanently lock up or destroy all census records made after 1901. Genealogists throughout Canada and in many other countries have been fighting this plan. This week genealogists received a major setback in their efforts. For more information see: http://globalgenealogy.com/Census (in English) and at: http://globalgenealogy.com/Census/Index_f.htm (en français). Privacy is one thing. To ride rough-shod over genealogists and historians is another. :-) Don
