VINSEL, 27 Oct 1839 Will Records Will of Samuel PREWETT (13 Nov 1801) mentions children: (sons) Philip Zachariah Samuel Benjamin Japhath (daughters) Ruth (COOK) Elizabeth (BUTT) Polly (HAWKER) Sally Will of William PREWETT, written 30 May 1826 and probated 21 June 1830, mentions children: Wife - Jane (sons by second wife, Jane) Joseph Allen Bowling Perkins Major Smith (daughters) Anney Susannah Mary ANn (sons by first wife) John William Jr. He stated "I give and bequeath my interest in the estate of my father, John PREWITT" Will of Zechariah PRUET, 16 Jan 1840, names wife Roda, heirs were: Sally BROWN Polly RICHARDSON Jeney LOVE Leahanna HALL Catherine SMITH Thomas PREWETT William PREWETT Served in the Revolutionary War according to records of Huguenot Society and Veterans Administration.
