Hi, Will someone please share how to obtain War of 1812 pension records with me? I also have recently been told that William Thomas "Bill" Branson, veteran of the Civil War, who moved from TN to Tecumseh, Indian Territory, with his wife, Sarah McMahan, (date of marriage 6/19/1892), prior to OK statehood, had a part Cherokee grandmother. Sarah was the daughter of Wilson "Cud" McMahan, a physician in Sevier County, TN. Cud was married (2nd) to Mary Katherine Caton in Sevier, TN., Sarah's mother. Does anyone know anything about this?
