I thank you for listing those marriages of Virginia Bransons, particularly those in Westmoreland County. My great grandfather is listed on the 1910 census as being from Westmoreland County, Va. He was George W. Branson and he was born circa 1858. Do you know if any of those Bransons listed from Westmoreland Co., Va. could have been African American? I would really like to know.
