Dear Sharon, According to the 1850 Census of Franklin County, IL, 13-year-old John B. Branson has an 11-year- old brother named Jerrod. In the 1860 Census of IL, 23-year-old John Brisko is listed with his parents Leonard and Mary (née Bailey). Nineteen-year-old GARRET Branson, Arithmatic Student, is listed as living with William Crawford and his family, who were some kind of family connection. Leonard was born in MD, Mary Bailey was born in Kentucky. Leonard's mother's maiden name was Mary Ellis.
