This has to be 1898... anne Mr. Nathaniel B. Branson of Clearbrook, Va., died at the residence of his son, Dr. Joseph H. Branson at 2 p.m. in Washington, Wednesday, May 18,aged 70 years. He had been a great sufferer for several months, and went to Washington sometime ago for treatment, also where he could be under the care of his son, Dr. Joseph H. Branson.Everything that kind hands could do was done to alleviate his sufferings until the end came , when he was called to higher realms where pain and sorrow are unknown. He leaves a devoted widow, one son , and one daughter to mourn the death of a loving husband and father. Two brothers, David W. and Jonathan Branson, also a sister, Ruth Matthews, survive him. The remains will reach Stephenson at 6:30 p.m. this evening and conveyed to the residence of his brother, David w. Branson where the funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. tomorrow(Friday). The internment will be in the Friend's graveyard at Hopewell.
