My John Branson was from Stokes County, North Carolina. Zachariah Lyon Branson died there in January of 1825. Zachariah Branson of NC was my gggg grandfather. His daughter Mahalia married Obadiah Landreth in 1825, and their first child (my gg grandfather) was named John.
