I don't know if you know the origins of Samuel D. Branson of Tenn., but it is my opinion that we are not talking about the same Samuel. However, we may still be related and able to help each other. Where did your Samuel come from? My Samuel was in N.J. and died there. He had only 1 son who lived to adulthood, and he went to Ohio in his youth after being orphaned early in the 1800's. At one time there were many Bransons in N.J. and another line that appeared to stay south. Let me know what you know!! Thanks. Jody
