John Branson was one of the sons of Isaac Branson and his wife Jane Smith. John married Amelia Pickering circa 1818 in Belmont County, Ohio. John was born in Virginia circa 1795. I cannot find this family in the Quaker records, does anyone know if they left the Quakers and Belmont county? If anyone is looking for John's brother William, I finally tracked him down in Henry County, Indiana. The main problem is the lack of names listed for the 1840 census. I have 14 people living in that home but only have names for 5 of the children. Does anyone have this line of Bransons?? anne
