Blotz: The town of Branson, Mo. was founded by my great uncle Rueben Branson, He was the postmaster there so the town was named for him. He only resided in the town for a couple of years after that. He had 6 brothers and 1 sister. My grandfather was Thomas Jefferson Branson and had a farm just north of Branson. Thanks hope this will help you.
