Mrs. Seamon, the daughter of the late Huston and Martha Branson, nee McKinney. was born on July 18, 1904 at Bland. She grew up and received her education in the Bland areas. On April 5, 1923, she was united in marriage to Arthur Seamon in Union. They were blessed with eight children. Mrs. Seamon was a member of the United Pentecostal Church in Washington. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Arthur on May 27, 1943; one son, Wilbert Seamon; two brothers, Jack Branson and Fate Branson; five sisters, Mary Branson; Rebecca Nixon; Elizabeth Nixon; Viola Williams and Nora Ahart. She leaves to survive, five sons, Warren Seamon of Washington; Elmer Seamon and wife Mary Ann of Hermann; James Seamon and wife Maxine; Alfred Seamon and wife Marian; and Robert Seamon and wife Kay all of Washington; two daughters, Irene Strubberg and husband Harry; Dorothy and Ray Glandon all of Washington; 21 grandchildren; 34 great-grandshildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Feb. 25th at the Miller Funeral Home. Interment was in the Union City Cemetery.
