Jack, My Branson line is also from Hopkins Co. KY so I thought you might be part of it. It has a George Branson b. 1790/2 as a son of Amos Branson and Hannah Timmons. They are my 5th ggp's. I descend from their daughter Catherine Branson who married Patrick Wiley and lived in Webster Co. KY after the counties of Henderson and Hopkins split to form Webster. I believe that I have found Catherine's burial site there. You might want to check with the Timmons list for an documentation for being their son. You might also the Webster Co. KY web site as they keep their 1850 & 1860 census on line and readers have added notes on their ancestors. Frequently, you can find some great information there and the person to contact.
