I saw the comment on another Thomas Jefferson Branson who was in northern Oklahoma. This is probably Thomas Jefferson Branson of Grant County Oklahoma and Cumberland County Illinois. He was the son of Andrew Branson and Elizabeth Greenwall (?). Thomas was born April 1831 in Patrick County Virginia and died in 1916. Father Andrew was born about 1802 in Virginia and Elizabeth also in Virginia about 1810. Andrew and Elizabeth were in Randolph County Indiana by 1840. Andrew died sometime before 1860 and Elizabeth was living in Cumberland County Illinois. She died after 1880. Can anyone identify this Branson family and determone if and how they relate to the Missouri Bransons.
