Listers, Rootsweb have given the mailing lists the ability to "gateway" to the GenConnect boards - ie. when a message is posted to a GenConnect board, the message can also automatically be posted to the corresponding mailing list. I think it's a good thing - it will give us more access to researchers who aren't subbed to the mailing lists however it will add some traffic to the lists (which is probably a good thing, too). Please email me PRIVATELY and let me know if you'd like to see us gateway our list.
