    3. Branson Researchers: I have two elusive Branson's that you might help me locate. The first one is a John T. Branson listed as marrying Rebecca Jane Dodson in 1845 in Gasconade County, MO. No other reference. I believe that Rebecca Jane married again to John Reed and they are my GGGrandparents. Unaware of any children that John T. and Rebecca had. I do know that John Reed was living with his mother Rebecca in 1850 in Gasconade in Caanan Township, along with siblings...Tabitha, Susan, Irene, Maney, Thurston and Christopher. Rebecca was the head of household. In 1870 she was living with Reuben F. Dodson/Dotson and his wife Tabitha Reed. John and Tabitha brother/sister; Reuben and Rebecca, brother and sister. Gasoncade County marriages lists a Leonard Reed marrying a Rebecca Branson in 1832. HELP ON ANY OF THE BRANSON'S or collateral familes. Thanks Rick Reed

Branson,she was from Missouri,she Married Lemuel Bennett and moved to Michigan and had 5 children and they use to tell me storys about going there every summer to Visit her mom dont know where she lived or even her name,my mom-in-law use to talk about a Jarred Branson dont know if it is the same man u all are talking about,I wish I knew more of his family history,his mom past away 2yrs after we got married so I really only have the storys she told me to pass on to our children.she use to go to the family reunions every year they were held she never missed one.well I just wanted to let you all know there is another Branson or few out here we are in Michigan......

    3. The Valentine Branson in the 1830 census this morning was between 40-49 years of age. At the time Worth (1861) and Gentry (1845) and Osage (1841) had not formed. Because of the age, I would assume that this was Valentine born 1785, son of Jarret. In his household, there is a female also 40-49 years of age. I wonder if this isn't Susannah East. A year later he married Sarah Smith Richmond. If anyone has access to 1830 death records, I'd love to know if a Susannah Branson died in 1830/31. In the census were a male 10-14 years of age, a female 5-10, and 2 females 15-19. I know the female 5-10 must have been Irene born January 03, 1823 in Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee. I didn't know Valentine had another son and 2 daughters. I'd love to know who these other children were! In 1810 he was probably in Patrick County, Virginia. In 1815, Valentine was in Bledsoe County, Tennessee. And we know he was in Davidson in 1823 because of Irene's birth. I'm trying to find him in 1820. Although Bledsoe was formed in 1807 and ancestry.com says their 1820 census are complete, there is no census there yet for Bledsoe. If you have any girls born 1811-1815 or a boy born 1816-1820 that you can't figure out the parents for, I'd love to hear from you. Sharon

Among the families in 1830 Gasconade are: Isaiah Shockley John Branson Andrew Branson Jarret Branson ?? could be Sr. or Jr, prob Sr. Has Male 70-79 range and female 80-89 Jarret Branson, Jr Henry Gowen William Branson James BRANNOM Jarret Branson....this one has a male 60-69 and a female 60-69 Owen Shockley Valentine Branson....Male 10-14, Male 40-49, female 5-10, 2 females 15-19, female 40-49 The next appears to be a C T Shockley
