Some Branson's daughter married a Brown, maybe??? before 1800??? I have Sarah Brown b 1800, who married Isaac Isaiah Fields b 1804, of Guilford Co., NC and Grayson Co., Va. Their first born son was John Branson Fields who is my ggrandfather. Was Sarah's grandparents of the Branson family or is Branson a typical given name? The other possibility would be from "Izar's" family. His mother was Mary Weatherly b 7-15-1779, who married Benjamin Fields, Guilford Co., N.C. Her father was Isaiah Weatherly from Caroline Co. Md.
