If so this is my great grandparents, and I would be real interested in any information available. My grandfather was Charles William Branson b. April 30, 1889. His brother Chester was several years younger than him. I found a in Gasconade County Missouri a list of the Banson family with children This a persons who might fit Jarret BRANSON was born about 1754 in Virginia. I don't know if you know the origins of Samuel D. Branson of Tenn., but it is my opinion that we are not talking about the same Samuel. However, we may still be related and able to help each other. Where did your Samuel come from? My Samuel was in N.J. and died there. He had only 1 son who lived to adulthood, and he went to Ohio in his youth after being orphaned early in the 1800's. At one time there were many Bransons in N.J. and another line that appeared to stay south. Let me know what you know!! Thanks. Jody

His daughter Mahalia married Obadiah Landreth in 1825, and their first child (my gg grandfather) was named John.
