Hi, (cousin) Janet & list! I, too, am interested in this information as Liner Willis BRANSON (b. abt. 1790, brother to Jan's Catherine) is my 4ggf. We are almost positive Liner's father was Amos who m. Hannah TIMMONS. However, we don't have conclusive evidence that it was Amos b. 1755 Hardy Co., VA. (s/o Lionel BRANSON & Rebecca ROGERS) or an Amos ( s/o Lionel BRANSON b. 1753 & Rebecca MILLAR. I currently don't show an Amos for this couple. ANY help is appreciated. This has been a mystery for a long time. Hello Everyone, I have a favor to ask of this list. I have listed my Branson line to me and was wondering if it is correct to Catherine Branson. I know for sure from Catherine Branson and Wilkerson Wiley on down to me but the rest, I want to make sure of. I am also wondering if anyone has the parentage of Rebekah Millar who married Lionel Branson. I recently saw it as William Millar (Molenaar) who was Dutch and his wife Sarah Du Bois who was French Huguenot from NY. Can anyone verify this. I think it is a fastnating line and want to persue it futher. I know that some of the dates may be off a bit and I didn't list any dates from Wilkerson Wiley on down because I have them in my files. All the line from Catherine Branson and Wilkerson Wiley is in the Webster/Henderson Counties in KY until the Wm. Lee Sheltons moved to Indpls., IN circa 1910. Thanks in advance, Janet Hineman in VA My Bransons are as follows: William Branson (1645) and Margaret (1649) their son Thomas L. Branson, Sr. (1670) and Eliz. There are masses of Bransons in Ohio, Virginia, Iowa, Illinois who were Quaker...some of those families had people who went into the Carolinas. I would suggest seeing what you can find for Quaker records in North Carolina. anne > John m: Mary Hutchins.
