Author: SueVize Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.brannigan/210/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Looking for info and descendants of Patrick Brannigan born in Ireland around 1833, immigrated to Glasgow about 1891 and died 1893 in Camlachie. He was married to Mary Cassidy (presumed to have died in Ireland before he immigrated). In Glasgow, Patrick lived with his daughter Ann Jane (known as Jane) who married Peter McCabe in 1891. Jane;s only surviving child Patrick immigrated to Australia in 1930. Jane stayed in Glasgow where she died in 1942. I think there may have been other children of Patrick Brannigan who immigrated to Glasgow as Jane's death was reported by her niece Jane Campbell.
