Pa. John was married to Jane Brannigan and was the son of Frank Brannigan born 1820 He had a son Alexander, a dau. Susanna, a son Felix, a dau Matilda, and a son John Jane came to America with her sister-in-law Elizabeth on April 21, 1865 on the SS Pennsylvania in NYC. The SS Pennsylvania was a three mast, one funnel ship built in Newcastle England in 1863 by Palmers shipbuilding and Iron co. It was 391 ft long and 41 feet wide. It was owned by the National Lines
