It is about 1 mile from Wilkes-Barre in Luzerne Cty. They originally came from Ireland, and then immigrated to Durham England( Bishop Auckland) to working the coal mines there and from there to Pa. most came here around 1865-1869 let me know if any of tese ring a bell in any of your family papers.
